Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Dunki, and since then, fans have been waiting for his next. He will be next seen in King with his daughter Suhana Khan. It is a multi-starrer film. However, now it is being reported that Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan will be heading to Scotland for the next leg of the film’s shoot.
Zoom exclusively learnt that Shah Rukh and Suhana will be flying to Scotland in September. A source close to the development informed, “Shah Rukh and Suhana have filmed a few portions in Mumbai under Siddharth Anand’s direction. King is mounted on a grand scale, so the Scotland schedule, which will begin in September, will be an important one. The father-daughter duo will be shooting there for around 40 to 50 days.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action-thriller King has generated significant buzz due to its star-studded cast and intriguing plot. Slated for a release in 2026, the film features Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role, portraying a powerful assassin entrenched in the criminal underworld. While Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma are already confirmed for the film.
Meanwhile, recent reports suggest that Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, and Anil Kapoor have also joined the project in key roles. Suhana will be seen as Shah Rukh’s student, taking training for deadly missions. Reportedly, both SRK and Suhana have undergone intense physical training for the film. Meanwhile, Abhay Verma will reportedly play Suhana’s boyfriend in the film.
Reportedly, Deepika will join the film as Suhana’s mother. As per a Pinkvilla report, Deepika will have a “full-length role, and a lot more than just a cameo” in King. “Shah Rukh Khan was always clear to have Deepika Padukone on board ‘King’. Initially, the dates did not match as Deepika was taking time off to be with the newborn kid,” the source said.
